It trends more towards wild berry flavours rather than ripe plum, exhibits a well developed middle palate, and has a longer more lingering and savoury finish than the 2006 version.

Merlot thrives at Bantry Grove producing fine elegant wines with structure and softness, showing hints of spice, blackberry and plum.

This wine will improve over many years. Serve at room temperature with cheese and full flavoured meals.

2006 Cabernet Sauvignon

It opens with a subdued berry aroma with typical leafy background, leading to a deliciously smooth rich mid palate with long lingering finish.
