The Wines
Bantry Grove wines are made from grapes grown and harvested from the Bantry Grove vineyard located at the southern end of the Orange wine region. Most of the wines are made under contract by Richard Parker, Long Rail Gully, Murrumbateman. First release under the Bantry Grove label was the 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon, with most of Bantry Grove's annual production being sold to other wine producers.
Grapes directed to the Bantry Grove label are selected from Bantry Grove's finest varietal blocks, mostly hand picked and transported under best conditions to Long Rail Gully.
Bantry Grove's policy is to produce estate grown wines of the highest quality, that reflect both the long term influence of soil and climate, modified annually by the ebb and flow of seasonal variation. Bottle prices range from $15.00 up to $19.00 with discounts for half and full cases (see How to Buy).
